Jennet Dickinson

Jennet Dickinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Cornell University. Her research focuses on high energy physics, particularly the study of the Higgs boson and its interactions. She works on the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider, investigating high energy Higgs boson production and the upcoming High Luminosity LHC upgrade. Dickinson is also involved in the development of novel silicon detector readout electronics using machine learning for future particle detectors. At Cornell, she contributes to the construction and integration of the Phase 2 forward pixel detector for the CMS experiment. She teaches courses such as Introduction to Particle Physics and Why the Sky Is Blue: Aspects of the Physical World.
