Strategy and Business Economics

Strategy and Business Economics is a chair in the Department of Business (BUS) at Cornell University. The chair leads research in areas such as industrial organization and strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation, organizational and personnel economics, and behavioral economics. The research focuses on understanding how markets and business can function more efficiently for the benefit of all. Members teach core strategy and microeconomics courses, as well as electives on innovation, entrepreneurship, pricing, and human resource economics. The chair also contributes to publications in top economics and business journals.
