Dean Andrew Karolyi

Dean Andrew Karolyi is the Charles Field Knight Dean of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business and the Harold Bierman, Jr. Distinguished Professor of Management. His research focuses on investment finance, particularly international financial markets. Karolyi has published in leading finance and economics journals, including the Journal of Finance and Review of Financial Studies, and has authored books such as International Capital Markets and Cracking the Emerging Markets Enigma. He has served as editor and executive editor of the Review of Financial Studies and as an associate editor for multiple journals. Karolyi has received several awards, including the Michael Jensen Prize for Corporate Finance and Organizations and the Fama/DFA Prize for Capital Markets and Asset Pricing. He is also involved in various advisory roles and has led executive education programs globally.
