Aleksander A. Aleszczyk is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at New York University Stern School of Business. His research interests include debt capital markets, financial institutions, and corporate financial distress and bankruptcy. He teaches financial accounting and reporting. Aleszczyk has received grants and funding from various institutions, including the AQR Asset Management Institute and the NYU Stern Center for Global Economy and Business. He earned his PhD in Accounting from London Business School and holds an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge, as well as a BA (Hons) in Economics and Finance from the University of Exeter. He has been recognized with the NYU Stern Distinguished Teaching Award and has been named one of the Best 40-Under-40 MBA Professors by Poets & Quants.
