Salvatore Affinito is an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations at the NYU Stern School of Business. His research explores the future of work, focusing on how remote and hybrid work arrangements shape employee outcomes, how working, living, or traveling abroad influences workplace behavior, and how emerging organizational policies can backfire. He uses field, laboratory, and archival data, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, to investigate these topics. His work has been published in leading academic journals and media outlets, and he has also held a post-doctoral research position at Harvard Business School.
