Professor Paula Jarzabkowski

Professor Paula Jarzabkowski is a Professor in Strategy at the School of Business, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on the insurance protection gap, particularly in relation to climate change, terrorism, and major weather events. She examines financial resilience to disaster in both advanced and developing economies, with an emphasis on reconfiguring insurance markets to address systemic risks. Professor Jarzabkowski is also involved in exploring innovations in disaster risk financing and their role in climate adaptation.
