Regular biography
Associate Professor Henri Burgers is a member of the School of Business at The University of Queensland, where he serves as the Head of the Strategy & Entrepreneurship Discipline. His research explores the intersection of corporate entrepreneurship, managerial and organisational capabilities, and institutional contexts. He has published in journals such as Strategic Management Journal and Journal of Business Venturing and has received research funding from the Australian Research Council. Burgers teaches courses on strategic decision-making and agile innovation and has developed curricula to enhance entrepreneurship and strategic skills. He is a recognised reviewer for journals and grants and serves on the Editorial Boards of Journal of Business Venturing and Group and Organization Management.
