Dr Samantha Cooms

Dr Samantha Cooms is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business at The University of Queensland. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (hons) majoring in Indigenous Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Research and Leadership, and a PhD in Business. Dr Cooms has a background in psychology and experience working in the mental health and disability sectors. Her research focuses on decolonising and Indigenising knowledges, with a special interest in disability, sustainability, and inclusion. She is passionate about promoting First Nations ways of knowing and using poetic inquiry to share perspectives of First Nations peoples in qualitative research.
