Dr Eric Tan

Dr Eric Tan is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the UQ Business School, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. His research interests include Funds Management, Investments, and Empirical Corporate Finance. Dr Tan teaches across undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA programs, with a focus on inclusive, student-centred, and practice-oriented learning. He is also a member of the UQ Business School's Digital Finance Research Hub and contributes to academic and professional communities through leadership roles such as chair of the FIRN Asset Management Meeting and convenor of the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF).
