Dr Dewan Rahman

Dr Dewan Rahman is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at The University of Queensland's School of Business. He teaches Asset Pricing, Finance, and Investment and Portfolio Management across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. His research focuses on insider trading, corporate finance, corporate governance, and corporate disclosure. He has presented his work at leading conferences and published in journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance and Journal of Banking and Finance. Dr Rahman was awarded the 2020 ECR Excellence in Research Award and received the 2024-2025 Fulbright Scholarship for collaborative research at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He supervises higher degree research students and is a member of UQ Business School’s Digital Finance Research Hub.
