Regular biography
Dr Weiting Hu is a Lecturer in Finance at The University of Queensland's School of Business. Her research interests include Financial Markets and Institutions, Market Microstructure, Behavioral Finance, and FinTech. She has published works on topics such as syndicated loans to technology firms and the impact of social media on stock returns and retail trades. Dr Hu holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. She is affiliated with the Finance Discipline at UQ Business School and is available for media inquiries related to social media and finance.
