Regular biography
Dr Chris Bell is a Lecturer in Finance at The University of Queensland's School of Business, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. He serves as Program Convenor for the Master of Finance and Investment Management at UQ Business School. Dr Bell brings over 20 years of industry experience in banking and finance risk, including roles in bank treasury and structured derivatives. His research interests include bank capital market decisions, financial stability, and the role of bonds in sustainable finance. Dr Bell holds a PhD in Finance from Queensland University of Technology and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and the Chartered Banker Institute.
