Regular biography
Dr Katie Williams is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems at The University of Queensland's School of Business. Her research interests include AI governance, data governance in healthcare, and the impact of AI in the public sector. Dr Williams brings extensive industry experience, having previously served as a KPMG Partner, and she is actively involved in teaching MBA and Master of Business Analytics programs. She has also contributed to Executive Education courses focusing on data-driven decision-making. Dr Williams is a member of the Future of Health initiative and the Business Educator's Hub at the University of Queensland.
