Regular biography
Dr Avijit Sengupta is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business at The University of Queensland, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. He is an Affiliate of the Centre for the Business and Economics of Health. His research interests include health informatics, digital health, telemedicine, and the impact of information systems on healthcare delivery. Dr Sengupta has published extensively in journals such as the International Journal of Medical Informatics, JMIR Medical Informatics, and Information Systems Frontiers, with recent works examining telemedicine tools, digital health interventions, and the role of AI in healthcare. He is available for supervision and has advised several PhD candidates.
