Dr Shahrzad Roohy Gohar

Dr Shahrzad Roohy Gohar is a Lecturer in Business Information Systems at The University of Queensland, School of Business. Her research interests include Green Information Systems, Green Business Process Management, Mental Healthcare Management Systems (Digital health), and Design Science Methodology. She has completed her PhD in Information Systems, a Master’s degree in Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Technology. Dr Gohar's research focuses on environmental sustainability, business process management, and the cognitive effectiveness of visual notations. She has published on topics such as environmental performance indicators in business processes and mental healthcare management. She teaches Information Systems fundamentals, Business Process Management, and IS analysis and design at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr Gohar is actively engaged in academic service and leadership, including her role as Executive Officer (Funding Chair) for the Association for Information Systems Women's Network (AISWN) and her recognition with a leadership award from AIS. She is a registered peer reviewer for multiple journals and conferences.
