Associate Professor Saeed Akhlaghpour is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the UQ Business School, affiliated with the Queensland Digital Health Centre, the Centre for Enterprise AI, and the Centre for the Business and Economics of Health. He is also an affiliate of the UQ Cyber Research Centre. Prior to joining The University of Queensland in 2015, he held academic positions at Middlesex University London and McGill University, where he obtained his PhD in Management. He teaches Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and digital strategy and governance in various business programs. His research focuses on data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, digital health, and the diffusion of digital innovations. He has published in top-tier journals and has been involved in several research projects, including an Australian Research Council-funded study on Digital Hospital implementation.
