Associate Professor Muhammad Nadeem

Associate Professor Muhammad Nadeem is an Associate Professor in the School of Business at The University of Queensland. His research focuses on corporate governance, corporate social and environmental responsibility, and financial and non-financial disclosures, with a particular emphasis on climate change reporting. He has published in leading journals such as The British Accounting Review, British Journal of Management, and Journal of Business Ethics. Nadeem has received multiple Best Paper Awards at conferences like AFAANZ and EURAM. He is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ). He teaches courses in Sustainability Accounting and Reporting, Cost and Management Accounting, and Advanced Management Accounting. Nadeem has supervised six PhD students to completion and is actively involved in academic leadership roles, including Co-lead of the Business Sustainability Initiative (BSI) research hub at UQ.
