Regular biography
Dr Matthew Peters is a Lecturer in the School of Business, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, at The University of Queensland. His research focuses on management accounting, with an emphasis on integrating innovative insights from sociology and strategic management literature. Dr Peters has developed various teaching materials to enhance students' understanding of real-world management accounting practices. He has received the 2022 UQ BEL Leading Teaching Award. His work includes publications on topics such as management accounting resources, BI-enabled profit planning, and interactive spreadsheeting as a learning strategy. Dr Peters is available for supervision and has contributed to several conferences and journals.
