Professor Shaun Bond

Professor Shaun Bond is the Frank Finn Professor of Finance and Deputy Head of School at the School of Business, University of Queensland. His research interests include real estate finance and financial economics. Prior to joining the UQ Business School, he was the West Shell Professor of Real Estate at the University of Cincinnati and held an appointment in the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge. He has also been a visiting professor at Pennsylvania State University and George Washington University. Professor Bond holds a PhD and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Queensland.

His work also examines the performance and diversification benefits of real estate securities and the influence of parental home ownership on children's housing experiences.
