Regular biography
Michael Seymour is a Professor of Particle Physics at The University of Manchester, affiliated with the Theoretical Physics Group. His research focuses on theoretical physics, particularly within the areas of particle physics and high-energy physics. He has contributed to various research projects and publications, including work on parton showers, event generators, and simulations for high-energy physics experiments. His research interests include quantum chromodynamics, partons, and Monte Carlo methods. Seymour is also involved in collaborative projects such as the Manchester Particle Theory Consolidated Grant and the Lancaster, Manchester, Sheffield Consortium for Fundamental Physics.
