Darren Price

Darren Price is a Professor of Particle Physics at the University of Manchester, affiliated with the Physics department. His research focuses on direct dark matter detection, neutrino measurements using liquid argon Time Projection Chambers, quantum sensor development, and machine learning applications in particle physics. He is a member of the ATLAS Collaboration at CERN and the DarkSide-20k and DarkSide-50 experiments at the Gran Sasso National Laboratory. Price also works on precision measurements and searches for new phenomena in high-energy proton-proton collisions. He is Director of the STFC Centre for Doctoral Training in Data Intensive Science and serves as Associate Dean for Engagement for the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
