Andrew Pilkington

Regular biography

Andrew Pilkington is a Professor of Particle Physics at The University of Manchester, Department of Physics. His research focuses on particle physics, particularly within the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. He is interested in Future Circular Colliders and serves as the spokesperson for the FCC-UK community. His current work involves precision measurements in the Higgs and electroweak sectors using proton-proton collision data. He also teaches the third-year Particle Physics course and the third-year laboratory that uses ATLAS Open Data. He offers 2-3 MPhys projects each academic year.
