Yvonne Peters

Yvonne Peters is a Professor of Particle Physics at The University of Manchester, affiliated with the Physics department. Her research focuses on top quark and Higgs boson physics, with involvement in major collaborations such as ATLAS at CERN, D0 at Fermilab, and the SiD consortium for the proposed ILC. She has held various academic positions, including Senior Lecturer and Helmholtz young investigator group leader at the University of Manchester and DESY. Her work contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 7, Affordable and Clean Energy.
