Scott Kay is a Reader in the Department of Physics at The University of Manchester. His research focuses on computational cosmology, including cosmological hydrodynamic simulations of galaxies and clusters, hydrodynamic simulation methods, and the impact of baryonic physics on cosmological tests. He is a core member of the Virgo consortium and a member of the Euclid consortium. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 7, Affordable and Clean Energy. Kay's research interests include astrophysical processes, particularly feedback from active galactic nuclei, and the formation of large-scale structures in the Universe.
