Sean Freeman

Sean Freeman is a Professor of Nuclear Physics at The University of Manchester, Department of Physics. His research focuses on Experimental Nuclear Physics, with particular emphasis on transfer reaction studies and gamma-ray spectroscopy. Freeman has held various academic positions, including Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Reader, and Professor, at the University of Manchester. He has also been a Research Associate at Victoria University of Manchester and a Visiting Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory. Freeman is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and a member of the American Physical Society.
