Stewart Boogert

Stewart Boogert is a Professor of Accelerator Physics at The University of Manchester, Department of Physics & Astronomy. His research interests include accelerator physics, simulation of accelerator backgrounds, and beam instrumentation. He is a leading developer of Beam Delivery Simulation and has contributed to projects such as the LUXE experiment and non-linear quantum electro-dynamics. Boogert is also involved in the development of accelerator tracking codes and Monte Carlo simulation tools. He is the director of the Cockcroft Institute for Accelerator Science, a research collaboration between several universities and the STFC ASTeC. Prior to joining The University of Manchester, he was a professor of Accelerator Science at Royal Holloway University of London.
