Zhenmin Zou

Zhenmin Zou is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research interests include composite materials and structures, structural fracture and failure, structural dynamics, impact, energy absorption, and the behaviour of cellular materials. He is also involved in biomechanics and material and structural response at high strain rate. Zhenmin holds a BEng in Aircraft Engineering, MEng in Solid Mechanics, and PhD in Aircraft Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, China. He has held research associate and fellow positions at UMIST and Victoria University of Manchester, and has been a lecturer at Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 9, focusing on industry, innovation, and infrastructure.
