Adrian Bull is the BNFL Chair in Nuclear Energy and Society at the Dalton Nuclear Institute, part of The University of Manchester. His work focuses on government policy related to nuclear and energy, as well as stakeholder and community engagement on nuclear issues. He is also a Senior Advisor at Full On Communications and the UK Government’s representative on the OECD-Nuclear Energy Agency High-level Group on Stakeholder Engagement. Additionally, he is President-Elect of the UK's Nuclear Institute, set to take up the role in 2026. Bull holds an Engineering degree from the University of Cambridge and has worked in various roles within the nuclear sector, including at British Nuclear Fuels Limited and the UK National Nuclear Laboratory. He was awarded an MBE in 2018 for his contributions to public understanding of nuclear energy.
