Richard Taylor

Richard Taylor is a Chair in Nuclear Energy Systems at The University of Manchester, Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on nuclear energy systems, including nuclear decommissioning, waste management, and energy technology. Taylor is affiliated with the Dalton Nuclear Institute and contributes to initiatives related to sustainable development goals, particularly in affordable and clean energy. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and has held visiting professor positions, including at the University of Liverpool.
