Kuppuraj Rajamanickam is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research interests include experimental fluid dynamics, optical flow diagnostics, and low carbon combustion. He previously held a Marie Curie Research Fellowship at Imperial College London and a postdoctoral position at the French National Lab (CNRS). Rajamanickam obtained his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, where his thesis focused on gas-liquid phase interaction dynamics in turbulent swirling flows. He is currently accepting PhD students for 2026-2027 and is involved in projects related to industrial decarbonization and sustainable energy systems.
