Dominique Laurence is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research focuses on computational fluid dynamics, turbulence modeling, and their applications in nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer. He has contributed to the development and validation of turbulence models, including Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS), Large Eddy Simulation (LES), and Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS), with an emphasis on code flexibility and robustness for industrial applications.
