Moray Kidd is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The University of Manchester, specializing in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Design, and AI/Machine Learning applications. His research interests include Maintenance Engineering, Engineering Management, and Project Management. Dr Kidd has over 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles and has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate projects. He is actively involved in teaching, research, and consultancy in reliability, risk, and mechanical design. Dr Kidd is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Higher Education Academy, and he contributes to international engineering standards development.
