Regular biography
Timothy Craft is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Aerospace and Manufacturing Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Turbulence modelling. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Keble College, Oxford, and a Ph.D. in Second-Moment Closure Turbulence Modelling from UMIST. His academic career includes roles such as Research Associate, Royal Society University Research Fellow, and Lecturer at UMIST, which merged with the Victoria University of Manchester in 2004 to form the current institution. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals 9 and 13, focusing on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, as well as Climate Action.
