Dr Nicholas Bojdo is a Senior Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Manchester, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His research focuses on particle-fluid flows, with applications in filtration and separation, and gas-turbine thermodynamics. Bojdo's current work involves predicting gas turbine engine degradation caused by ingested particulate such as mineral dust and volcanic ash. He graduated from The University of Manchester in 2008 with an MEng in Aerospace Engineering and completed his doctorate there in 2012. He was awarded the EPSRC Doctoral Prize in 2012, which supported his research and industry collaborations.
