Professor Martin Albrecht is a Professor of Cybersecurity and Chair of Cryptography in the Department of Informatics at King's College London. His research interests include lattice-based cryptography, post-quantum cryptography, applied cryptography, social foundations of cryptography and information security, and computational mathematics. Albrecht obtained his PhD at Royal Holloway under the supervision of Carlos Cid and has worked as a postdoc with Jean-Charles Faugère, Gregor Leander, and Kenny Paterson. His research focuses on developing efficient and secure lattice-based tools for practical use in a post-quantum world, as well as advancing encryption technology to protect data against future quantum threats.
