Regular biography
UCHIDA Masayuki is a professor at the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, The University of Tokyo, where he is affiliated with the Department of MATH. His research interests include statistical inference for stochastic ordinary and partial differential equations, with a focus on developing rigorous asymptotic theory for statistical estimation and hypothesis testing of SDE models. He also studies the statistical asymptotic theory of stochastic partial differential equations, particularly through high-frequency spatio-temporal data. His work emphasizes the construction of inference methods for SPDE coefficient parameters and their theoretical foundations. Uchida has published extensively in journals such as the Annals of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics and the Scandinavian Journal of Statistics, and he is a member of several statistical societies, including the Mathematical Society of Japan and the International Statistical Institute.
