ABE Tomoyuki(Kavli IPMU)

Tomoyuki Abe is a Professor at The University of Tokyo, Department of Mathematics. He has held various positions including Associate Professor and Project Associate Professor at the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (IPMU). His research focuses on arithmetic geometry, particularly p-adic cohomology theory. Abe studies arithmetic D-modules, a variation of crystalline cohomology, and explores their connections to cohomology theories through the lens of the Langlands program. He is also interested in the potential insights from physics, such as S-duality, in advancing arithmetic studies.
