TODA Yukinobu(Kavli IPMU)

Yukinobu Toda is a professor at The University of Tokyo, Department of MATH. He is affiliated with the Kavli IPMU and has held various positions including Principal Investigator, Associate Professor, and Project Associate Professor. His research focuses on mathematics, particularly in the areas of algebraic varieties, Calabi-Yau manifolds, and mirror symmetry. He has contributed to the study of Donaldson-Thomas invariants and Gopakumar-Vafa invariants using stability conditions on derived categories. Toda is also interested in the categorification of Donaldson-Thomas invariants. His work explores the interplay between explicit mathematical objects and abstract notions in mathematics and physics.
