OKADA Izumi

OKADA Izumi is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Tokyo. Their research focuses on probability theory, particularly the long-term behavior of stochastic processes. They investigate hitting probabilities, intersection probabilities, and local times of simple random walks on integer lattices and Brownian motion, with an emphasis on the geometry of singularities in the context of large local times. Selected publications include studies on the geometric structures of late points of a two-dimensional simple random walk and the capacity of the range of random walks.
