Shane KELLY is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on algebraic geometry, with particular interests in motivic homotopy theory, algebraic K-theory, and their applications to representation theory, class field theory, and birational geometry. He is currently generalising topological methods in algebraic geometry developed by Voevodsky and others, adapting them into frameworks sensitive to nilpotents, unipotent groups, and wild ramification.
