Regular biography
Asuka IMAIZUMI is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Economics, Faculty of Economics, The University of Tokyo. Her research focuses on Japanese Economic History. She joined The University of Tokyo in October 2023. Prior to this, she served as an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Saitama University, since April 2019. She also held positions as a Lecturer at Saitama University from April 2015 to April 2011. IMAIZUMI earned her Doctor of Economics degree from The University of Tokyo in March 2010. She was a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science prior to her academic appointments.
