Regular biography
Akira ISHIDE is an Assistant Professor at The University of Tokyo, affiliated with the Graduate School of Economics. His research focuses on macroeconomics and international economics. ISHIDE holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, expected in 2025, and previously earned an M.A. and B.A. in Economics from The University of Tokyo. He is currently in a tenure-track position at the Graduate School of Economics, Faculty of Economics, The University of Tokyo.
