Yue Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanical principles underlying the fate, form, and function of biological systems, with an aim of addressing interdisciplinary challenges in human health and physiology. The Life Logic Laboratory (L3) seeks to decipher the mechanical, physical, and biological driving forces responsible for the fates, forms, and functions of organisms.
