Chang-Jin Kim, Ph.D., is a Professor Volgenau Chair in Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles, in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His research focuses on micro and nano manufacturing, including microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), surface-tension-based actuation, and nanotechnology for surface control. He leads the Micro and Nano Manufacturing Laboratory and has contributed to advancements in microfluidic applications and superhydrophobic drag reduction.
