Ann Karagozian, Ph.D.

Ann Karagozian, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. She serves as Vice Chair for Industry Relations and Outreach and directs the Collaborative Center for Aerospace Sciences. Her research focuses on fluid mechanics and combustion, with applications to engine efficiency, emissions reduction, alternative fuels, and propulsion systems. Karagozian is affiliated with the Energy and Propulsion Research Laboratory and the UCLA-AFRL Collaborative Center for Aerospace Sciences. She is also a Fellow of several professional societies, including the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
