Thomas B. Graber

Thomas B. Graber is a Professor of Mathematics at the California Institute of Technology, affiliated with the Division of Physics, Mathematics and Astronomy. His research focuses on the algebraic geometry of moduli spaces, with applications to numerical invariants of algebraic varieties, problems in birational geometry, and arithmetic over function fields. Graber received his A.B. from Harvard in 1994, M.A. from the University of California (Los Angeles) in 1995, and Ph.D. in 1998. He served as an Associate Professor at Caltech from 2005 to 2008 and became a full Professor in 2008. He has also held the position of Executive Officer from 2022 to 2025.
