Regular biography
PAN Wenqing is a professor in the Department of Economics at Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management. With a Ph.D. in Economics from Renmin University of China, PAN has held various academic positions at Tsinghua University since 2001, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and tenure professor. Their research interests include quantitative economics, macroeconomics, and international economics. PAN has led six projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has published over 100 academic papers. They have also received several awards, including the first prize for an excellent textbook from the Ministry of Education in 2021.
