FENG Yingjie

FENG Yingjie is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Tsinghua University. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan and has been affiliated with Tsinghua University since 2021. Her research focuses on theoretical and applied econometrics, mathematical statistics, and data science. She has published extensively in top-tier journals such as the Annals of Statistics, Review of Economics and Statistics, and American Economic Review. Her work includes contributions to nonparametric estimation, synthetic control methods, and uncertainty quantification. She is also involved in teaching courses such as Introductory Econometrics I, Advanced Econometrics II, and Applied Microeconometrics.

Yingjie Feng is an Associate Professor at Tsinghua University, specializing in Econometrics. His research focuses on developing and applying econometric methods to analyze economic data, with an emphasis on causal inference and uncertainty quantification. He has contributed to the development of nonparametric and semiparametric partitioning-based methods, as well as synthetic control methods for policy evaluation. His work includes studies on the middle-income trap and China’s growth prospects, as well as the analysis of historical economic data, such as market integration in China during the early 20th century.
