Zhengyi Yang

Dr Zhengyi Yang is an ARC Early Career Industry Fellow in the School of Computer Science at the University of Sydney, where he leads the Responsible and Intelligent Data Systems (RAIDS) Lab. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at UNSW. Previously, he served as an Associate Lecturer and later as a Senior Research Associate at UNSW. His research lies at the intersection of data systems and AI, with a focus on scalable data infrastructure, graph data management, and responsible data intelligence. Dr Yang has published extensively in leading international venues, including VLDBJ, SIGMOD, VLDB, ICDE, WWW, HPDC, CIKM, and EDBT, and his work has received multiple Best Paper and Best Student Paper awards. His research has been supported by strong industry collaborations and has contributed to real-world deployments in areas such as financial technology, sustainability, and large-scale data analytics.
