Regular biography
Uwe Roehm is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at The University of Sydney. His research interests include data engineering and data science, cloud computing, database systems, distributed systems and algorithms, data mining and knowledge discovery, information systems education, data management and data science. He is the leader of the human-centred data management research node and organises the Database Research Group. Roehm is also involved in the Master of Data Science program and the university-wide Major in Data Science. His current research focuses on human-centred data management and integrating machine learning with databases for big data analytics.
